We have not set a number yet, and we would rather say that than invent one. What we can tell you today is what it covers: NullSpace, all of it.
The straight version: NullSpace becomes a paid app — not a free canvas with paid extras bolted on. It is a native Mac app built full-time, and the honest way to keep building it is to charge for it. Your work stays yours either way: layouts, notes, planner and scrollback are files on your disk, and your repositories were never ours to hold.
No, because we never took one. When there is something to pay for you will be asked on purpose, with the price in front of you and the date already behind you in an email.
Because this is somebody's whole job rather than somebody's evening. A native Mac app of this size needs full-time work, servers that run every day and builds that stay signed — a project with those costs and no revenue ends the same way every time. Charging for it is what keeps it being built.
Your work stays where it is. Layout, notes, planner and scrollback are files on your Mac, your repositories are your repositories, and your agents are CLIs you installed and logged into yourself. Nothing you have made lives only on our servers.
No — you bring your own. Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and Copilot CLI run under your own subscriptions and your own logins, and Null Space never sees those tokens. The one exception is NullAgent, the voice layer, which thinks and speaks through metered providers — that one is included in the subscription, and it is not switched on for accounts yet.
Because the build is served over a personal link, updates need somewhere to check in, and the phone companion needs to know which Mac is yours. One address, one password, one confirmation click — and the confirmation is there so nobody else can claim your address.
There is one written down. During the beta it is academic — there is nothing to refund.
